MTR Daily Login Mission

Duration: Over 12 months

This ongoing project enhances the MTR mobile ecosystem through two core components: a strategic daily login event and interactive mobile web games. The UI/UX focuses on driving new user acquisition and habit formation by incentivizing daily check-ins with an integrated lucky draw system.

To deepen engagement, the gameplay mechanics allow users to earn in-game currency redeemable for MTR points, supported by social features such as team recruitment, progress sharing, and competitive leaderboards. Ultimately, the interface balances gamified interactions with functional loyalty rewards to expand the user base and boost overall digital activity.


Overview

The overall design of check points and game elements draws significant inspiration from board game mechanics, creating a familiar and enjoyable experience for users. This approach not only makes the game more accessible but also encourages strategic thinking and planning, similar to traditional board games.

As users advance through the levels, the number of check points gradually increases, providing a challenging yet rewarding experience. This incremental rise in difficulty helps maintain user interest and motivation, as players strive to reach new milestones.

To further enhance the user experience, the interface incorporates an experience bar that adds elements of gamification. This visual representation of progress gives users a tangible sense of accomplishment as they complete daily tasks. By rewarding users for their efforts, the experience bar encourages consistent engagement and reinforces the habit of returning to the app each day.

Layout (Phase 1)

The landing page serves as a central hub for recurring users to track their progress and view past records. It features check points and game elements inspired by board game designs, with the number of check points gradually increasing with each new level. Additionally, an experience bar adds gamification elements, providing users with a sense of accomplishment as they complete daily tasks.

Layout (Phase 2)

The primary objective of this project is to market the MTR platform and promote its point redemption system, which is facilitated by a share feature on most pages to help recruit new users. Building on the daily login from phase one, MTR has continued the campaign with a similar check-in mechanic while introducing new gamification elements. After checking in, users can engage in various mini-games to earn extra MTR points, with a rotating selection of four games available each week.
